An internal email was sent out to all Bank of America Corp Field Services regarding the Dec. 6th National Day of Action to Occupy Our Homes. See the email below.
The email reads that this event “could impact our industry.” Well, yes, BAC, that is our hope. Thanks for…
Keep filling up those foreclosed buildings, and not just in the US - Squatters everywhere, put people back in their homes, and give people who don’t have homes a place to stay buy occupying empty spaces!
However, a leaked email could be a misdirection (?) Where is the leaked emails concerning the Bank Transfer Day actions?
Maybe that doesn’t bother them because the money is still in the system, whereas banks also rely on property as collateral. Effectively, with a mortgage the bank ‘owns’ the property until the mortgagee builds up enough equity to own it themselves. Given that these sort of payments take a life time to build equity, and people rely on the housing prices to rise so that the property can be on sold in a manner that covers purchasing a future property with some equity, or at least to pay off the previous loan, mortgages are a scam that just keeps on taking, and banks effectively own all the property in a kind of scrambled flux that looks like they don’t own everything.
Making this distinction meaningless would be threatening. Perhaps we ought to encourage land lords to not pay back their mortgages, and to declare amnesty on renters who do not pay their rent. A massive occupy by tenants and mortgagees globally. That will fuck them up.
